The Bay Education Foundation is proud to sponsor its fourth Arts Alive event on April 4, 2013, at Edgewater Beach Resort and Conference Center. Arts Alive is a major fundraising event for the Bay Education Foundation. The proceeds from this event yield funding for Take Stock in Children scholarships and for visual and performing art grants. This year’s event is very special because it is part of a year-long celebration to honor the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary.
In three short years Arts Alive has become one of the most anticipated charity events in our community. The evening features a reception/silent auction, a gallery of student art, a three-course meal, and a fabulous variety show. The variety show consists of fifteen acts, selected via audition, representing the best singers, dancers, and musicians that Bay District Schools has to offer.

In addition to raising funds, Arts Alive provides an excellent real- world learning opportunity for local students who choose to participate. This audition process exposes students to professional standards and processes in the arts. Performers who are cast in the show earn a boost to their self-confidence, knowing that they are part of a top-quality production.
The Foundation relies on a generous community to bring scholarships and artistic activities to local students. Proceeds from our overwhelmingly successful 2013 event impacted over 6,000 students in the grant program and changed lives forever in our Take Stock in Children program.
